Project goals
When Hwee Bin first started Purpose Field Works, she did not yet have a clear way to articulate her work or a platform to share it.
She was ready for a website that:
Clearly communicates her work and services, so visitors understand how she can support them and which pathway fits
Builds trust and credibility, through her experience, methodology, and a calm, grounded brand presence
Guides visitors toward taking action, with a clear focus on booking a discovery call, while laying the foundation for future growth
The “Before”
When Hwee Bin first started Purpose Field Works, she was at an early stage of her business, without a website or a clear way to communicate her work to others.
“When I first approached Fiona, I just started my own practice, and wasn't very clear in articulating why and what I offer. I also didn't have a ‘shop front’ that I could readily share with people who were curious about what I do.”
- Tay Hwee Bin
Without a clear way to express her work, it was difficult for her to confidently share what she does or invite others into conversations about how she could support them.
Colors & Fonts
I chose a grounded, nature-inspired colour palette to reflect Hwee Bin’s calm, thoughtful, and purpose-driven energy.
The green tones are inspired by local “cow grass”, symbolising trust, stability, and growth. They create a sense of grounding and familiarity, while darker shades convey credibility and authority, and softer neutrals allow space for reflection.
To create a calm, professional look that matches Hwee Bin’s thoughtful and systems-oriented approach, I paired Raleway for headings and Inter for body text.
Raleway is used for headlines to convey openness, structure, and thoughtful leadership, while Inter supports body copy with high readability and clarity. Together, the typography balances openness with focus, creating a calm, professional voice that remains approachable and easy to read.
Logo
The primary logo is calm, grounded, and quietly distinctive, reflecting the essence of Hwee Bin’s work. The symbol is an abstract “P” formed by a leaf-like shape emerging upward, representing purpose coming alive through thoughtful action. Its upward movement conveys growth, while the structured form beneath suggests grounding and the deeper systems that support lasting change. Paired with a clean wordmark, the overall logo feels professional yet warm, balancing clarity with quiet confidence.
The secondary logo and brand mark offer flexible variations for different contexts. The simplified mark can be used in smaller applications such as social media icons, presentation materials, or subtle brand accents. The leaf-like form was intentionally chosen to symbolise growth that is organic, rooted, and evolving over time, reflecting Hwee Bin’s approach of working with real-world complexity rather than quick fixes.
Stock Photography
Hwee Bin described her brand personality as professional, approachable, calm, wise, and thoughtful, which I used as the anchor for curating stock photos.
I ensured that the stock photo collection, coupled with actual in-action photos, reflected her values of helping people feel understood, empowered, curious, and reassured.
The imagery focuses on people and teams in authentic moments of collaboration, set against local backdrops, reinforcing her connection to community, public service, and place. This creates a visual direction that feels grounded and purposeful, while reflecting growth that is participatory and deeply connected to real-world contexts.
Content Strategy & Website Flow
During our strategy session, Hwee Bin and I worked together to clarify her audience, services, and the essence of her work in leadership and systems change.
Drawing from her brand questionnaire, project brief, and our conversations, I crafted the core website copy across all key pages. Hwee Bin also contributed thoughtful reflections and inputs, which became an important part of shaping the messaging.
Given the depth and nuance of her work, this process focused on translating complex, systems-oriented ideas into language that felt clear, grounded, and accessible, while still staying true to her voice.
This provided the foundation for Hwee Bin to continue refining parts of her copy after launch, as her work evolves.
Website
I brought together the colours, fonts, logo, imagery, and copy to create a website that reflects Hwee Bin’s calm, grounded approach while guiding visitors through a clear and thoughtful journey.
The website is designed to move visitors from understanding her work and perspective, to exploring her services, and ultimately to booking a discovery call. Clear pathways were created for different audiences, so visitors can quickly identify how she can support them.
This structure supports her goals of building trust, clearly communicating her services, and encouraging the right clients to take the next step.
The completed website includes:
Core pages: Homepage, About, and Services
Dedicated service sections for Team Effectiveness Consulting, Systems Change Facilitation, and Coaching
Contact page with an embedded booking flow to make it easy for visitors to take action
A flexible structure to support future additions such as coaching programmes and lead magnets

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“I gained confidence to talk about my work to a wider audience”
“When I first approached Fiona, I had just started my own practice and wasn’t very clear in articulating why and what I offer. I also didn’t have a ‘shop front’ that I could readily share.
I appreciate Fiona’s client-centric processes and communication. As someone not very tech-savvy, her systematic process with clear instructions really helped ease my anxiety about website creation. She also provides very constructive feedback through her designer lens.
I’ve shown a ‘sneak preview’ to a few contacts and received positive feedback. One shared that she liked its serenity and cohesive impression. Through these sneak previews, I am gaining confidence to talk about my work to a wider audience.”
